"Hey Dave This is Grace H. calling, my son Patrick T. was one of your clients a few months ago I was calling to just say thank you so much for all that you and New hope have done for my son Patrick. I’m actually speechless and coming upon the holidays I’m just calling to wish you happy holidays and send a special thank you. Patrick is at Phillip House and could not be more impressed. Having a child with a mental disability and addictions and all the other stuff going on has been horrendous for many years, but this has been a very hopeful experience and my thanks for you and your staff I couldn’t be more impressed."

"You have touched so many people doing the work you do and living the life you have led. You are indeed a very rich man. I live my life everyday and there are many days when I say to myself, “what is it all about, is this all there is”. But when you can touch people and change their lives as you have done, that is richness and a purpose that comes from God. All your struggles have made you the man you are today. I wanted to tell you that I appreciate everything that you have done for my son and for me and my family. I wish I could touch people’s lives the way you have touched mine. I hope you know when you put your head down on your pillow at night that you are loved and appreciated for not only everything that you do but for the person that you are. You are an example of what it means to be a good person. So Mr. Wilder, I have many Christmas wishes this year but one of the top 10 on my Christmas wish list this year is that you have a wonderful Christmas holiday and that your new year is filled with love, health and happiness. God bless you for all you do and all you are. I miss you and think of you often, but you see you are always with me, in my heart."
-Excerpt from a letter of appreciation to counselor
"I was in treatment about three months ago and I just wanted to give you an update on how I'm doing. I'm four months clean on Monday. I've been attending NA meetings everyday since I left New Hope. I have been working the steps with my sponsor and I am currently on Step 2. I'm chairing for my home group this coming month. I owe a lot of thanks to you and New Hope for getting me to this point. So from my family and me, we'd like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did and hope to hear from you soon."

"Our staff report that as Director of Nursing, you consistently assist clients in accessing services in a caring, coordinated and effective manner, even in the most challenging times. Moreover they agree that you bring an infusion of energy, new ideas, compassion and a continued devotion to the care of those dealing with substance abuse. On behalf of our agency, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the critical services New Hope provides. We highly value the relationship we share."

"My wife and I can't give your counselor enough kudos/accolades for the work he did with our son, Paul. His sincerity and dedication to rehabilitation is quite evident. We believe he is tough but fair, which is a winning combination in the difficult job he faces.
He was always available to us. Whenever we called, he always returned the call. When we looked into his eyes we felt a deep sense of commitment to his profession. Equally important, we believe Paul has a friend.
In conclusion, we wish to thank the staff at New Hope for the wonderful work they are doing. As parents, we feel Paul has had a 'world-class' experience at New Hope. We hope that others will be fortunate enough to share those same results."

"I would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful program at New Hope Secaucus. When we had no hope, you gave us hope. It has truly helped our child. I know that a client must be willing to accept help for a program to work, but what I've seen throughout the last four months is how the New Hope program is superior to others. Our son has been in treatment three times before, but at New Hope I believe the entire staff works the program with the kids. This is the difference.
Your counselor is the catalyst that makes this program succeed. She is extremely dedicated and has a no nonsense attitude that the kids respect. In addition, I would like to thank the entire rehabilitation staff. Their dedication and support for these kids is to be commended.
Whatever the future holds, I will know that New Hope has given our son the tools to succeed. He's changed, he really has. He goes to meetings every day, has a sponsor and a commitment and has dropped his old friends. He talks to us. Gone is the anger. We're finally a family."

"I don't even want to think about what my life would have been like if my dad hadn't gone to New Hope. I'm just thankful New Hope helped him become 'Dad' again."
-Christine, daughter of former client
"Thanks to the support I found at New Hope, I've been clean and sober for three years. New Hope helped me find the strength I needed to be a better man, a better husband and a better father."
- Bill, former client
"To the staff at New Hope - Marlboro, I want to say thank you for all your caring, hard work and giving of yourselves each day to the men and women you serve. My husband was in your facility about three years ago and completed the 30-day residential program. He has remained clean and sober to this day.
He always speaks highly of New Hope and those who helped with his treatment. If he comes across anyone who is in need of a program he highly recommends New Hope. He never says it was a bed of roses, but that is was hard, intensive work but well worth it. Once again, thank you. I hope and pray God gives you all the strength and courage to be 'your brother's keeper' and continue to change lives."
- Sylvia, wife of former client
"After the death of his father, I know that Jimmy would not be alive today if not for New Hope's Adolescent Care Center. He now has been clean and sober for five months. He goes to meetings every day, has a terrific sponsor and attends grief counseling once a week. He will graduate from high school in June and is enrolled in college for this coming fall. Thanks for all your support when I was desperate and needed it most."
