New Hope Foundation Elects New Board Officers

Ron Hari Assumes New Role as Vice Chairman of the Board after serving Three Years As Chairman of the Board

Marlboro, New Jersey, (July 7, 2008) – The New Hope Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of five new officers to its Board of Trustees. Effective immediately, the following new officers have been appointed:

  • Rev Mark VanSant: Chairman
  • Ronald Hari: Vice Chairman
  • Karyn Marshall: Secretary
  • Rich Violante: Treasurer
  • Timothy Kircher: Assistant Treasurer
  • “We are very happy to welcome these new officers to the New Hope Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Tony Comerford, New Hope’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are confident that these passionate volunteers will help us to enhance the achievement of our mission to provide cutting-edge treatment for alcohol, drug and gambling problems.”

    “I am looking forward to assuming the role of Chairman of the Board of Trustees at New Hope,” said Rev. Mark VanSant. “My work for the New Hope Foundation provides me with a great sense of satisfaction, and is a perfect complement to my other formal ministries.” Rev. VanSant is also Rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Little Silver, NJ.

    Ron Hari assumes his new role of Vice Chairman after three productive years as New Hope’s Board Chairman. “I am pleased to support Reverend VanSant in his new role as Chairman of the Board,” said Mr. Hari. “And, I look forward to continuing my support for this amazing organization.” Mr. Hari was a major force behind the recent growth of the NHF, especially its transition into its new state-of-the-art facility here in Marlboro.

    This new facility, located on Conover Road in Marlboro, provides cutting edge addiction treatment in a clean, bright and modern environment. Previously, New Hope’s main facility was located on the grounds of the now closed Marlboro Psychiatric Treatment Center. New Hope operates 4 other facilities around the state and is opening a 6th , The Phillip House, in Long Branch New Jersey in August.
